Blankets for Orphans in India
Children at an orphanage in India need warm blankets during the cold winter
months. Paparao, director of Mission to the Nations, requested help in purchasing
150 blankets for children at the orphanage. Each blanket cost about $10.
Please
consider
giving a blanket to a child this winter. You can send a check to:
Portion for Orphans
P.O. Box 458
Marshall, TX 75671
Please include a note "Blankets for India." 100% of these donations
will benefit the children directly.
Parizat Nesting Home's New Website
Parizat Nestling Home, an orphanage in Nepal that Portion for Orphans is suporting,
has a new website: http://parizat-nestling.org.
Take a moment to see the pictures of the girls and to read a little about their
lives and histories.
Rattiakorn Is Adopted
Here's
Rattiakorn reaching out of her crib for a hug at an orphanage in Thailand...
She has now been
adopted by a German family. If you are interested in
adoption, you can learn more about that at
Buckner Internation. Do not let funds
stop you, there are many organizations raising funds to help those who
want to adopt.
Prayer Requests
- Please pray for growth of the organization, the
vision, so that we can help meet the needs of more
little ones around the world.
- Pray for Hope Run Austin which is tentatively
planned to take place in Austin, TX in March 2008.
- Praise God for growth and much enthusiastic
support.
For the little ones,
